Delivery and Postage

Delivery Information

All of our item descriptions state the normal period of time in which that item will be dispatched.

We dispatch the majority of our orders via UPS Express on a 48 hour service, in which case a tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order is booked out. This can be used to check when your order has been despatched and when it is due for delivery. Some exceptionally small items may go by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery.

Please supply us with an address where there will be someone available to sign for the delivery during the week, between 9am and 5pm. If you are ordering exceptionally large or heavy items, please have facilities available to help unload your order as delivery drivers are usually unaccompanied.

If nobody is available to sign for the delivery, our couriers will normally leave a card with instructions for you to arrange either a free redelivery or a collection from your local depot. If redeliveries repeatedly fail due to the customer, there may by additional charges for this service.

Saturday deliveries, pre-12pm deliveries and other special arrangements can also be made on request, subject to availability. Please contact us to confirm the availability and price of these services.

Delivery Charges

Our delivery charge structure is based on overall order weight and delivery area. The delivery charge will be automatically calculated when you view the items in your Toolbag, so that you can see the delivery charge before entering your full details in the checkout.

The default charge displayed is for delivery to Area 1 (mainland England, Wales and Scotland). To change this to Area 2 (Northern Ireland and offshore UK islands), Area 3 (Channel Islands) or another country, please click the 'Change Area' button and use the drop-down menu to select the correct area.

Delivery Area 1

All addresses in mainland England, Wales and Scotland fall within Delivery Area 1.

Delivery Area 2

All addresses in Northern Ireland fall within Delivery Area 2. This covers any address with a BT postcode. Deliveries to Northern Ireland may take 2 days longer than to addresses in Area 1.

Delivery Area 2 also covers offshore UK islands including all Scottish Isles, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly. Isle of Wight deliveries run to the same schedule as Area 1, but deliveries to the Scottish Isles, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly may take 2 days longer.

Delivery Area 3

All addresses in the Channel Islands fall within Area 3.

Other Countries

We now deliver throughout Europe. The current list of available countries is displayed on the drop-down menu below, which can also be displayed when you press the Change Area button when viewing the item your Toolbag. Deliveries within Europe will generally take 1-2 working days longer than within mainland UK.
